It is long past due for Facebook to react to the plethora of fake news posts on its pages. So, for 2020 election cycle it has begun. Announced in early September it is tagging the Russian Internet Research Agency's (i.e. spy) misinformation project.
So in just the last month, it has removed nearly 100 groups and Instagram accounts; nearly 200 pages; and over 500 Facebook accounts. Not bad for one month, but keep them coming!
